My goal is to support your Whole-Beeing Health with tools I’ve acquired through years of self-healing/education, Certification in Holistic Nutrition & Wellness Coaching, yoga & EFit (fall prevention) instruction, Reiki Master/Teacher, and a Masters Degree in Counseling Psychology from the University of Utah with a focus in Gerontology. Together we’ll identify areas to focus on, in the realms of mind, body and Spirit, so we can visit educational material that will help you make good decisions for your health and develop a personalized plan designed just for you.

I will help you become a detective, so you can figure out what your body is trying to tell you!  I want to share what I have learned and give you the tools to explore the often less chartered waters of healing. Having personally been down many rabbit holes with life-long GI issues, food intolerances, mold illness, anemia, parasites, mental health “illness,” as well as Mothering children that have had a host of issues that we have almost always found natural solutions/remedies for! 

Are You Ready For a Change?



So many seek a health coach hoping to loose weight and though a healthy weight is important…loving yourself comes first, so that the life-long changes can be made so that one is free of the “weight” forever.  Honoring the body, as it is and where it’s at, while cultivating a mindset that is rooted in Gratitude is the basis of my life.  My background in mental health has taught me many tools, and I will incorporate those (without veering into traditional therapy) but the roots of that field have left out what I see as the cause/source of most of the problems…in my experience, mental “illness” is not a life-long disease. It is a symptom, the body’s way to communicate that something is out of balance. Now, I would never encourage someone to stop taking medication or to not utilize the conventional mental health system if they are in an acute state or don’t find healing/relief in a way that they can handle. But, I personally was able to find healing for “mental illness” by healing my body.  Any mental health symptoms that came up were a result of “foods” (quotes because so many of our foods are actually full of chemicals that make them toxic for many of us!), mold, anemia, parasites, and so on! Imbalance in my body created imbalances in my mind.  Not to say that I haven’t had to develop intense coping skills, to manage times when my body and mind were dysregulated, but the field of yoga and mindfulness have been just as helpful (if not more) than traditional models of therapy when combined with changes in lifestyle/nutrition.  I mean, maybe that’s not fair because I did do years of traditional therapy and got to know myself and my issues so deeply that perhaps I was ready to focus on my body? I just wonder, how would my experience in this life been different if I had healed my body and mind, either together or even my body first?  What about you? Geriatric Care & Caregiver Ally

I assist and support Older Adults and caregivers by connecting them with resources and developing care plans that address their needs in the steps ahead. I found a passion for working with and on behalf of Older Adults and their caregivers while in Graduate school, where I completed coursework and a thesis in Gerontology and provided companionship/caregiver relief to a gentleman with Parkinson’s Disease.  Upon graduation I worked eight years in Geriatric integrated mental health care and served on the Board of Directors for The Foundation on Aging, which helped me intimately understand the processes, challenges and gifts that aging brings to Older Adults and their caregivers.
